The Larry King Cardiac Foundation (The LKCF) was established in 1988 to help individuals who, due to limited means and no insurance, would otherwise be unable to receive the treatment and care they so desperately need. The Foundation works in conjunction with hospitals throughout the nation to ensure that patients receive proper medical attention. Doctors performing these surgeries do so at no charge. Hospitals are compensated only for the materials used. Hearts are repaired. Families are given another chance. Lives are saved.

Our work has helped to save the lives of fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, and children from around the world. Our vital support network of physicians, hospitals, medical device companies, and pharmaceutical companies have joined us in a landmark commitment to bring critical care to people who have simply run out of options. The Larry King Cardiac Foundation is committed to save lives, heal families, strengthen communities, and make heart health achievable for all, day in and day out. The Foundation is committed to focus even more attention on the importance of prevention and to boost the visibility of Everyday Heart Heroes who are working tirelessly and creatively to ensure that more and more of us live happy, heart-healthy lives.
